Portfolio critique: I rebuilt mine around three case studies

I cut my portfolio from 24 projects to three long case studies, each with the problem, what I tried that did not work, and the result in numbers. Before I send it out to leads next week, I would love blunt feedback. Is three too few? Does leading with the messy middle of a project make me look less competent?
